The Holden Choruses (Collegium Musicum, Harvard Glee Club, and Radcliffe Choral Society), the Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus, and the Choir in Progress (CHIP) hold auditions each year at the start of the fall semester for undergraduate or graduate students of Harvard University. The process begins with preliminary auditions. This audition takes place privately with our conductor, and its purpose is to evaluate vocal ability/quality, musicianship, and musicality. It consists of basic vocal exercises, ear training exercises, and a short sight-reading excerpt.

Miguel Felipe, conductor, serves as Associate Director of Choral Activities at The Boston Conservatory, is an instructor at Boston University, and was visiting faculty at Brown University in 2005. He is music director of the Boston Choral Ensemble and has worked for a dozen years as a church musician. Miguel earned his bachelor of music, summa cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music and master of music from Boston University. His research and musical activities include work in the choral music of Southeast Asia.

Kevin Leong is in his fourth season as Associate Conductor of the Harvard-Radcliffe Choruses. Along with directing the 150-voice Harvard-Radcliffe Chorus, he assists in conducting the Harvard Glee Club, the Radcliffe Choral Society, and the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum. Dr. Leong has worked with Jameson Marvin and the Harvard choruses over the past eleven years, having served as Acting Conductor of the Harvard Glee Club, Assistant Conductor of the Harvard Glee Club and the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, and Conductor of the Harvard Glee Club Alumni Chorus.

Jameson Marvin is Director of Choral Activities and Senior Lecturer on Music at Harvard University. He is responsible for the choral program at Harvard and conducts the Harvard Glee Club, the Radcliffe Choral Society, and the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, and teaches courses in Choral Conducting, Masterpieces of Choral Literature, and Renaissance Performance Practices.

Harvard's distinguished undergraduate mixed chorus, the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, was founded in the fall of 1971 to coincide with the coeducational merger of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges.

Numerous outstanding performances followed under the direction of F. John Adams, leading to critical acclaim on their seven-week bicentennial tour of Western Europe.
